Just an example from one of my favorites. When we are ready to go we shall put one of yours on each day. God bless you..David

Mathew 5:42
Give to him who asks you, and from him who
wants to borrow from you do not turn away
Girl In Trouble
She stood on the corner with no one to call
Had at one time a family, stood real tall
Now she was looked at like trash on the ground
If you see someone like this you might make a sound
Like ugh or oh my or say look, what happened to her
Then a man comes along and she walks up and says sir
Would you like a good time or do you have some cash
I’m not feeling too well cause I ran out of my stash
He looks at her with thoughts of prostitution and such
She just said don’t bother with a speech I have a crutch
I been living on the street or in cars or with friends
He bends down to her says here here’s a ten I send
He knew no one saw what he did was his first time
As he walked away she yelled thanks man for the dime
She went to her dealer got a dime bag and did her thing
Was back on the corner no help did his effort bring
Came another she hopped in his car and away he went
No one needs wonder what happened she had no rent
Police cars all around a girl was lying on the street
Ambulance came and the police on their beat
The same girl it was that man didn’t come to play
He didn’t want a thing but to hurt her that day
Was bent in his mind that she was all evil and bad
So he beat her for her sin his judgment was sad
At the hospital she awoke was clean in a gown
She was bruised and beaten by this man to the ground
Broken bones and many cuts deep into her frame
She was coming down from her drugs felt so lame
She lay there listless and spoke not a word
When doctor came in a small voice they heard
Said so softly can I stay here for a while or not
If you need this bed maybe you have a old cot
He ordered something for pain she slept so soundly
When she awoke what she saw she said so profoundly
Aren’t you the man that gave that ten the other day
What are you doing here do I have to leave today
The doctor came in and heard her talking out loud
She said with strong voice this man says he’s proud
The doctor looked all about the room to no avail
Thought she lost her mind when on the street she fell
The man said to her the doctor doesn’t need to know
She thought for a minute, the drugs took their toll
He said he’d be back for her to rest for a while
She looked back at him and oh man did she smile
She never met anyone who spoke so nicely to her
Told the doctor I’ll go to treatment maybe they can cure
All the pain I have inside and the drugs I take too
He said I understand we will send some help to you
A few days went by and the wounds were healing
Wondered if that man was real had a good feeling
She went through treatment and cleaned up real fine
When she was clean she talked a long long time
She realized all her mistakes, remembering that man
Wished he were real so she could make with him a plan
Somehow it seemed ok thinking of the ten-dollar bill
Where was she to go then came in a great deal
The staff had found her a home where she could live
A place with a family they came by to talk and give
They gave her some love with hugs and a kindness
It was like with that man didn’t want a kiss
Now three years went by and she finished high school
She was eighteen now, going to college so cool
Sitting under a tree she saw him from far off clear
It was her man friend her heart beat as she got near
He looked up to her and said can you sit for awhile
Said I’m your guardian angel you are with much style
When I came to you before I set up some things
I’m sorry about that accident it hurt my heart strings
I saw you get in with that man there was nothing I could do
Except to stay near and go through it all with you
It was I at the hospital not a hallucination or dream
I was with you thereafter and I watched you get clean
Got directions from the man upstairs, He directs it all
If you need anything else just give Him a call
Spend some time with Him He loves you so much
And when He answers your prayers you’ll feel His touch
Oh and one more thing I must tell you today
That man that hurt you so that day he did pray
He felt so bad for what he did to you I say
He was on drugs too and overdosed that day
He was in the hospital in the next room to you
I helped him find his way he need much help too
He has changed his life and paid for your stay
Asked God to help you when he kneeled down to pray
He was gone now and she never saw him again
But when she walked home she had quite a grin
Looked at that same corner, a girl was standing there
For the time being she said a short prayer
But she knew for sure and told her parents at home
She was to finish college and help these kids not to be alone
You might meet her if you are involved in child services
Or if you’re a child that’s alone on a corner real nervous
Some say she looks like an angel if you see her from afar
Some say she is an angel for her work is above par
But I am that angel that helped her that day
Just wanted to tell her story so in your heart it would stay
Please pray
Please please pray
Please please please pray
