Let us share our knowledge we have gained through long nights,and the many trials and tribulations in finding the best ways to market our books. Poetry as you have found out doesn't sell well do to one fact that it is extreamely hard to put one in a bookstore and if it is a POD then even harder. Let us find ways together to join all our knowledge and not for large fees but for free to the purpose of all of us becomming successful marketers. We shall in time share all we have learned and are learning as we go. Be true in this and we shall all come out smelling like a rose. Ummm a sweet smelling Rose taking us to heights of enjoyment. Well. I have three books written of poetry that I have in a gift shop in our home town. I have to pay for the books to be placed in the store, so I hope that they will sell and the owner of the shop can make a commision as well as myself. It is just so costly to try to get them seen by others.. It is the Authors that must pay to get them out there so others will see what they have to offer. I do hope that I do sell some. Good tip to put in any and all stores. I have put in many different ones and need to check back with some. I'm beginning to think that a site like this that many can pull others to can bring more people and I do believe in unity as a powerful tool. Good for CRJ ie Christina in getting her books in a local store. jimy

I managed to put all three of my books in a local bookstore in a nearby town. Hopefully maybe they will get a response as they have a poetry reading club there once a month. I keep asking for God to help out with the sales, but so far only the first book is known.. and the other two.. are not being requested as of yet. I keep praying and trying to keep my faith as the last book.. I spent so much time on with that glossary and all and thought surely.. all poets would find it a great learning tool.
